I’m currently running a simple comparison of Storefront versus Neve. Both themes are free themes from WordPress.org.
The initial tests will be without WooCommerce, then I’ll activate WooCommerce and eventually test a simple shop page. I’ll run Lighthouse to test the front end and use oik-bwtrace and slog to look at server performance.
I’ll start with Storefront then switch to Neve
