Two bars on Shift Enter?
So what happens in the first Paragraph block when we press Shift-Enter
Umm
It’s OK in cwiccer!
Pasting Enter equals what?
When creating content using the Classic editor pressing a new line doesn’t create lots of unwanted vertical white space.
In Text mode it just moves it to the next line.
Just what we (think) we want.
Switching to Visual retains the breaks.
But the Enter key creates a new implied paragraph… with a one line break.
The difference between Classic Editor and Block can be summarised.
Classic Editor doesn’t show its working.
Block Editor does.
Here’s another one.
Sometimes we get two br’s
When we press Shift-Enter
Is this just in the first block?

No releases for ages then along they come, just like London buses.
Block edited
This page was created using the Block Editor. Attempting to use the Columns block is a nightmare on an iPad when the Settings panel is displayed.
Column 1

Column 2

PHP Errors triggered
Having switched an empty post to Classic Editor, Query Monitor produced an Ajax: warning message.
PHP Errors were triggered during an Ajax request. See your browser developer console for details.
Tricky to see the console on an iPad!
When developing a new block one of the hardest things to do is to find a suitable SVG icon for the block. I’m going to have to learn how to create SVG files. So far, I’ve used Bar Chart for UK tides – already used for Statistics. And the info icon [bw_dash admin-info] for Fields – already used in the main toolbar.
